Our services

Over the past several years, the number of Russian consular officers in the U.S. has significantly declined due to visa challenges between the two countries. Many Russian consular officers were required to leave the U.S., and in 2024, the last two Russian Visa Centers were permanently closed. Despite these changes, the demand for Russian passport and visa applications has remained steady. As a result, we anticipate longer wait times for appointments and extended processing times for all document types. Options for urgent appointments are more limited, and it has become more challenging to secure regular appointments as well.
Currently, there are only three operational Russian consular locations in the U.S., all working at limited capacity: the Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Russian Consulates in New York and Houston. While we are hopeful for improvements in the U.S.-Russia diplomatic situation, it’s essential to plan for longer processing times and to arrange appointments well in advance.
You can save time and effort by allowing Russian Agency to book your passport appointment at the Russian Embassy or one of the Consulates and to prepare your applications and forms to meet the Russian Federation’s strict requirements. We’ll help you secure the earliest available appointment to fit your schedule. Additionally, for many Russian documents, including visas, an in-person appointment may not be necessary. Contact us, and we’ll let you know if your needs can be met entirely by mail.
